The Grammys of a cappella are here! Well, almost.

The Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) has announced the 2018 nominees for its annual recording awards, known as the CARAs. The winners will be recognized LIVE on FloVoice during an awards ceremony at Boston Sings (BOSS) on April 8.

Familiar favorites Pentatonix, The Swingles, Plaid Productions, OneVoice, Postyr, Nor’Easters, Six13, amarchord, Forte, Beelzebubs, Jackson Jills, and the Amalgamates all made appearances on the list.

Several albums stood out this year on the list of nominations, including The Newfangled Four, with three nominations: Best Debut Album, Best Barbershop Song, and Best Barbershop Album.

Gina Deaton, a longtime volunteer in the a cappella community, was recognized with four nominations for her debut album, "Journey Home."

University of Florida group Gestalt was recognized with three nominations for its debut album, "Beyond the Archetype," and live favorites Unstrumental, VoiceBox, and Lark also racked up significant nominations.
