Top Shelf Vocal is an enormous group of about 20 people. Harmony Sweepstakes rules state you can only have eight people on the stage at a time, so Top Shelf Vocal had to make some adjustments this year before it could earn its place at this weekend's National Finals. A year after finishing as a regional runner-up, the group broke through in April to become the Los Angeles Regional champion and advance to Sweeps.

If you're a Baltimore Orioles fan, you've seen Lustre perform a lot. They are the Mid-Atlantic Regional Harmony Sweepstakes Champions who also won the Audience Favorite award. Their motto is "Have pitch pipe, will travel!"
Connect from Connecticut is the New York Regional Harmony Sweepstakes champion. As a nine-member group, Connect had to rotate its members on and off stage during its regional victory in March, which only secured the travel costs of eight performers to nationals. The Sound Exchange booked their spots in this weekend's Harmony Sweepstakes National Finals after winning the Chicago Regional in March. The group, which hails from the Twin Cities, also took home the awards for Audience Favorite and Best Soloist (Paul Donnelly). Known for their hilarious on-stage antics, The Sound Exchange will be looking to bring not only their great singing but also their comedy to the Marin Center in San Rafael, CA, on Saturday.
The Bay Area's Regional Sweeps champion is Business Casual, a powerhouse of a quintet that can perform any genre but prefers to sing their own music.

The rules of the Harmony Sweepstakes are much less strict than that of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Fireside Quartet are excited to be competing at Sweeps on Saturday, May 20, at the Marin Center in San Rafael, CA, because they get to perform in a way that they aren't allowed to in most standard barbershop competitions.
After winning the New York Regional Harmony Sweepstakes in 2016, Stiletta was flown out to San Rafael, CA, where they competed against six other regional champions at the National Harmony Sweepstakes Finals.
